Print Books and Journals
A large number of high quality selected books are available in the National Library of Chemical Sciences and with sister libraries at the PCMD, IAC and PBW the combined collection of ICCBS libraries is more than twenty-five thousand printed books.
The library subscribes to 330 professional and scholarly journals from all over the world on Chemistry, Bioscience and Biotechnology, Drug Research, Medicinal Chemistry, Biology, Food Science, Magnetic Resonance, Natural Product, etc.. The most recent issues of journals are placed on the current journal display shelves and back issues for that year are placed under the current journals. Bound volumes of back issues are housed separately.
The online catalogue, which lists all items available in the library, can be searched by author, title, subject, keyword or call number of the book. The catalogue can be viewed online at library.iccs.edu

ICCBS are also providing more than 150000 e-books and 25000 e-journals through high-tech computers and fastest internet facility in the digital library of L.E.J. National Center of Science
Chemical Abstracts (Print/CD/Online)
Research Library has a rare collection of Chemical Abstracts published by The American Chemical Society. Library has a print collection of Chemical Abstracts from Vol.1 (1907) till yet published.
Ready Reference Collection
A large number of reference sources are available in reference section of the library. Various subjective encyclopedias, handbooks, directories, proceedings, are part of this unique collection. There are also a handsome number of general reference sources like atlases, yearbooks and encyclopedias. These reference sources can only be consulted within the library.
Databases of CD-Rom
The library subscribes to a number of important CD-ROM and online databases e.g., Chem Draw, Dictionary of Natural Products, CA on CD ROM, etc. These electronic resources can be accessed through any computer within the ICCBS digital network.
ICCBS Publications
The library also holds a collection of research work done by the eminent scientist / faculty of ICCBS like Prof. Dr. Salimuazzam Siddiqui, Prof. Dr. Atta ur Rahman and Prof. Dr. Muhammad Iqbal Choudhary. Besides these, library also houses the research work of ICCBS student in the form of thesis.
